quick thanks!

I’m deep in studying – translating – trying to soak up the sun in the breaks… But I wanted to let you know that I have made a lot of progress on the February Baby Sweater! Your comments were really helpful in getting me to press on, bit by bit, and my joy of knitting returned in the process! I am now back to the strategy of rewarding myself with a few rows of knitting for every accomplished work task, and I have also been sneaking in knitting while waiting for people and wandering around town… Yay, it’s back! :))))) Phew.

Thank you all so much for your support! Not only is the sweater now so close to completion that I’ve asked for the postal address, but I am truly relishing the utter joy of knitting again! Actually, I’m finding it even hard to understand why it was so bogged down for a while… ;)

Hugs all round! :)

About fridica

I started knitting completely by accident, when I was visiting my parents for a holiday in 2008. On a boring Sunday afternoon, I decided to dig through their stash of books to see if there was anything interesting to take back to my apartment. A knitting manual happened to be one of the books I found. I got curious, my mom immediately dug out her old needles and yarn stash (which she hadn’t used in a decade at least), and in a few minutes we were both casting on - she by memory, I by following the instructions from the book… :) Since I normally prefer learning from books, this was ideal.. I took the book home with me, and very very soon - I was an addict.
