The vacation preparations are ongoing.
After sewing A Something earlier this year, the sewing bug (I’m sure this won’t come as a shock to you) got me. I’ll tell you more about my sewing adventures later, for now suffice it to say that I will be packing a handmade skirt to take with me for camping.
It is far from perfect (and still lacking a hem), but it is a functional item of clothing that I made completely on my own. I for one am very impressed with myself ;)

Sorry for disappearing on you like that.
Life has been… a bit much… in the last few months.
I’m trying to keep my head above the water, and think of good times ahead – starting to put together some “essentials” for my summer holiday. I’m going camping. For the first time ever. For two full weeks. The best thing is – I should be terrified. Me – camping? I am NOT a nature person. But right now, after the last few months, I can think of nowhere I’d rather go than somewhere with no internet connection, no urban buzz, no people. Just green green green trees, and quiet.
